  • Q: Do I need to know about or have prior knowledge of Nature-Based Mindfulness Therapy?

A: No! For many group members this will be their first time participating in a nature-based mindfulness group. This group invites everyone to come as they are with an open mind to learn, grow and create deeper connections and understanding through mindfulness and nature. These experiences and tools will be transferable to areas in life that may feel challenging.

    Q: Does this replace therapy?

A: No! This group can enhance your therapeutic skill set and if you are currently in therapy. However, it does not replace psychotherapy. This group works great in conjunction with individual therapy.

Q: What do I need to bring for this group and what if weather is bad??

A: Upon registering for this group you will receive information on what to bring to ensure you are comfortable and well hydrated. This list will be provided through the client portal. Jasmine will also be available for any questions you have on this. Jasmine will also always prioritize the safety of the group members and ensure weather is suitable to being outside. If it is not- discussion of rescheduling and or hosting the group inside will occur. You will be notified ASAP of all of this.

Q: Do I need to attend all group sessions?

A: Yes! Attendance is crucial in getting the most out of this group. If you have scheduling challenges- please let your group facilitator know in as much advance as possible.

“There’s never a good time for Mindfulness, and there’s never a bad time. Mindfulness is one of those things you simply do, because if you practice being aware- completely open to the universe, just exactly as it is- you will transform you life in time..”
