LCSW Supervision
Meet Your Supervisor:
Jordyn Russo, LCSW
I have been in the field of social work for the entirety of my professional life. I received my BSW from Indiana University Bloomington, my MSW from IUPUI, and my animal assisted intervention cert from DU. I received my LCSW in 2018. My professional experience is vast. I have worked in residential, respite, community mental health and a school social worker. I believe all of these experiences have molded me into the clinician I am today to better help families, systems, teens and other therapists. During our time together whether that be individual or group supervision it will be about you and your needs as you strengthen your clinical skills. I believe individual and group supervision should be heavily autonomous and focused on what you and the group needs. This is including scheduling, topics, resources and self-care. I look forward to connecting with you!

“Jordyn is a knowledgeable supervisor with a ton of awesome tools and resources. She made getting my remaining hours for my license easy and convenient. I particularly appreciated her knowledge of trauma and childhood attachment & behavior. Her readings and resources supported my growth as a clinician, and many of the tools she gave me have been useful with my clients in private practice. I highly recommend Jordyn as a clinical LCSW supervisor, especially if you have an interest in working with youth and families. “
“Jordyn provided both group and individual clinical supervision to me while I was working as a school social worker. Jordyn has the ability to apply her knowledge and clinical experience to the school setting, and can always be counted on to provide sound, clinical judgement to a diverse array of client issues. She has a wonderful way of allowing all supervisees a chance to voice their opinions, while also offering her perspective. She tends to bring the focus back to what is ethically responsible in most decisions, which I appreciated as a new clinician. She is well-prepared for every session, and shares an abundance of helpful resources. I highly recommend Jordyn as a warm, compassionate, and knowledgeable clinical supervisor.”
